Facebook: New Layout Thumbs Down!
Facebook asked and the people are responding. According to an active poll regarding the newly designed layout of Facebook--only 6% of the users give it a thumbs up. Now what--for the 94% that don't like it? To be continued...

I found a cool new site that I want to share with everyone. Check out Breathing Earth. You can see all of the births and deaths happening (simulated) across the globe. It also measures every countries CO2 footprint. Pretty scary. - Jason

Changes to Facebook
Because EVERYONE seems to be on Facebook...if you haven't read...Facebook announced some structural changes yesterday.
1) Twitter-esque: Facebook members (large and small) can now send out a stream of regular updates from their profile pages. Updates can now be delivered in near real-time (the receiver decides what they get).
2) You can now have up to 25,000 friends versus the previous 5,000. (Craziness! Really!)
3) The status prompt is changing from "What are you doing right now?" to "What's on your mind?" (Not sure I want to know what is on some of my friends' minds!)
4) Facebook Pages are being eradicated. Celebs and companies with fan pages will now have profiles instead.
Oh...what will the community say and how will they react? Stay tuned.
